Capesante Gratinate / Baked Scallops au Gratin

6 capesante col guscio / 6 scallops (incl. shells)

170 gr pane grattugiato (meglio se grattato fresco) / 170 gr breadcrumbs

70 gr pecorino grattugiato / 70 gr pecorine cheese grated

1/2 bicchiere olio d’oliva / 1/2 glass olive oil

2 cucchiai prezzemolo tritato / 2 tbs chopped parsley

succo di mezzo limone / juice of 1/2 lemon

1 spicchio d’aglio tritato finemente / 1 garlic cloved finely chopped

buccia grattugiata di 1 limone / grated zest of 1 lemon

sale e pepe / salt and pepper

acqua q.b. / water as needed

Olio extra-vergine q.b. / extra-virgin olive oil as needed

Riscaldare il forno a 200°.

Heat the oven at 200° C.

 

Unire tutti gli ingredienti in un recipiente e mescolare.  Aggiungere qualche cucchiaio di acqua per ammorbidire il composto.

Put all ingredients in a container and mix well. Add as much water as needed to obtain a soft mixture.

Farcire le capesante con il composto. Coprire con un filo di olio e infornare per circa 10 minuti o finché non saranno leggermente tostate. Servire.

Fill in the scallops shells with the mixture above. Add a little of olive oil on top and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve.
